Oliver Ames Student Council provides support and assistance to all other clubs and organizations in the school.
Student Council is a group organized of eight elected representatives from each class.
This year our President is Nic Calderone, Vice-President is Ji-Sun Ham, Secretary, Kathryn Waxman,
Treasurer, Mariana Siquiera, Historian, Colleen Sessler, Public Relations, Dana Belanger and Webmaster, Alex Male.
The goal of the 2009-2010 Student Council is to fundraise for and contribute to local Easton charities, such
as the Easton Food Pantry, My Brother's Keeper, and Schools on Wheels. Over the past few years, Student Council
has proudly and successfully donated approximately $10,000 to Dana Farber and Invisible Children.
Aside from raising money for charities, Student Council also runs many school events throughout the year.
Some of the major events includes, Semi-Formal Dance, Spirit Week, Talent 4 A Cure, Pep Rallys, Alumni
Breakfast, Homecoming Pep Rally, Student Leadership Conference, Student Activities Fair, Freshmen Orientation
and various other school related and fundraising activities throughout the year.
