Mid-Year Exam Information and Schedule
Oliver Ames High School will begin Mid-Year Exams on Thursday, January 19, 2012. This examination period is an important learning experience for our students. Our teachers have prepared students well for these exams, and we encourage parents/guardians to stress the importance of serious student study/review leading up to the testing period. Students need plenty of rest and good nutrition at all times, but this need is even greater during this stressful time. Ryan's Story - A Presentation for Adults - January 23
The Qualters Middle School Parent Advisory Council would like to invite you, your staff and parents to an free amazing and life-changing presentation.
Ryan’s Story – A Presentation for Adults by John Halligan
John Halligan’s son, Ryan, died by suicide on October 7, 2003 after being bullied by classmates at school and online. He was 13 years old. John’s 90-minute presentation, targeted to adults, will cover the lessons learned too late for his family regarding how to deal with bullying, cyber bullying, and teen depression, and parents will be empowered with strategies to take preventive actions with their own children.
The event takes place on January 23, 2012 at Mansfield High School at 7pm.

Super Bowl Saturday!
OA Football is playing in their first Super Bowl game in school history. They will play Concord Carlisle High School in the Division III Super Bowl game this Saturday, December 3, at 9:00 a.m. at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. For information, see this flyer (DOC), and the stadium parking map (PDF).

Robotics Team Fundraising Night
The Robotics Team Fundraising Night is this Thursday, December 1st, from 4-10 P.M. at the Texas Roadhouse in Brockton (124 Westgate Drive). Tickets are available in Room 306, and they need to be presented to earn donation. Take-out orders are also eligible.
